I am a software engineer with more than 10 years of experience working at the ICM/SHIP-KEF institutes at the University Medicine Greifswald. My expertise ranges from the design and development of backend software tools and web applications to maintaining publicly accessible servers hosting cohort data. I am passonate about implementing and following high standards for quality and security of the software systems under my responsibility (and beyond). Since mid-2019 I was also employed at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (https://www.h-its.org/) to integrate the MaSyMoS graph database into the SEEK system. In all my projects I like to use and support Open Source Software, Open Data and Open Science!
