Data integration
I am a researcher at the University Medicine Greifswald. I am interested in the development of data integration solutions and knowledge graphs.
My work focusses on the integration and connection of heterogeneous data sources. Graph databases offer a storage concept for heterogeneous, highly connected data. The connection of medical data and systems biology data can gain new insights about diseases. In addition, it promotes the reuse of existing data and computational models in systems biology.
As a member of the HealthECCO organisation (https://healthecco.org/) I am actively involved in the graph community. HealthECCO aims to support science and research by providing graph technologies. I am involved in the integration of different heterogeneous data sources in a COVID-19 knowledge graph.
